Acid Live jam (EMX & FR Revolution)

Post by Hosni » Mon Oct 20, 2008 3:09 pm

Hey guys!
I made this deep and rather minimal acid track today, I put the video up on youtube, and the mp3 is available aswell.

Gear used:
Korg EMX, Drums, bass and the vague synth sound.
Korg ESX, some samples.
Quasimidi 309, Kick and hihat.
FutureRetro Revolution, Acid.

HarriL - Event Horizon (Live)

I hope you like it.

Nice work! I really enjoyed that track.
Man, I've always wanted a 309 but I always pass up the opportunity when one's available. How is it for live tweaking?

Thanks! The 309 is just fine for basic stuff like muting/unmuting and playing with the controls found in the front panel. I always use it for simple stuff like drum programming etc. I don't want to use the synth though, im not very pleased with it.. :(

hat track would certainly fit well in a live show :) nice sounds, but a little too much of the same if you ask me (i.e too long), but that's the nature of jams I guess :) nice use of your gear, and as always, brilliant sounds :)

Heh, yeah. I tried not to throw in everything I got this time.
What usually happens is that i have too much going on, I had to try the opposite for once. But hey, it was fun! :)Thanks for the comment man!

nice live jam, sounds great. id add a lead though and build on it more but thats cause i like more melodic stuff, and i understand thats not really the nature of minmal techno and acid etc.

oh, and id loose the tom. again just a preferance

as i say, sounding great
