Groundbreakingly realistic strings

Post by CS_TBL » Tue Apr 14, 2009 11:33 pm

I'm not even going to mention the synth anymore.. should be predictable by now..

Uses aftertouch for stronger vibrato and pitchbend up/dn for crescendo/decrescendo.

As for the notes: just random improvisation here.

Haha, you are VSE's FM virtuoso. I'm ditching my violin now. :salute:

Is that pure FM? and if so which of your MANY FM capable units did you use to make it? Sounds v. nice. (my guess is it's NOT the DX7 looking at the more advanced FM machines you have)

If you scroll down in the listening lounge then you'll notice that I have a habit of boldly exploring FM8 where no one has explored before.. :P

FM really is quite magical isn't it?... my gf still shakes her head at the concept of there being 'no samples' in 'the box' when presented with some (almost) life like sounds... maths and music whodathunkit? ;)

oh and good work on those patches, I use FM8 but have been using more of my hardware lately but FM8 is always there - I've not explored it so much yet though other than it's morphing/arp stuff (missing from my DX7 II)
