wow, compared to the myspace thread way back this was pretty useless...

No one cares, no one sympathizes,
so you just stay home and play synthesizers.

different mostly. what I like is that it's more like myspace with comments, friends etc, and the ability to make comments along a time-line I find very valuable.
cons are that you can only upload 5 tracks per month unless you want to pay for it.

upload some tracks, find some relevant groups, join and send your tracks, start following people you like, and soon you'll get loads of comments on your music. it goes slow at first, but it quickly became my favourite place to hear opinions on my music. :)

and thank you tekkentool :) it means a lot to me that people enjoy what I do :)

i'm just still psyched that there is a whole world of free music out there, where you can just freely talk to the creators. it adds another dimension to the music for me.

Most EM types, we love to talk about our stuff.

some say, too much

but remember, esp. for me, I can not afford to give it all away for free, it's biz for some. these synths and effects, cost money, effort to learn, tame and use. in my case, performing live is out of the quesiton in my area, unless I buy / rent a venue. sad and I would not just show up anywhere with my synths ...
I can point to the hard/soft ware I have purchased by picking up cans and bottles. I can tell you about hot days and ice days too doing this. It's a love for sure but I am still being head strong and trying to make it into a biz as well. [-o<
