No one cares, no one sympathizes,
so you just stay home and play synthesizers.

Re: My debut album
Congratulations on the completion! I'm only through "Nothing to Hide" but I'm really enjoying it. I've got a few friends that will want to check this out. Oh, I like where the guitar was placed in the mix on "Reduce You". Just heard that...good stuff.

Re: My debut album
So I just got done listening to the entire album, and I really like what you did. My best friend is a DJ at the Leland City Club in Downtown Detroit. It is an idustrial, goth, synthpop, darkwave, etc club. I really enjoyed "Square" and "Deeper and Deeper."
I'm going to give him the link to your stuff because I think it is pretty cool. I'm pretty sure he will download some of it and play it there. The people who go there will totally get into it. Congratulations on a great album
On a side note, I see you have a Microwave XTk listed in your gear. Do you like it? How often do you use it? I've been looking at possibly getting one, and I was just wondering if they are worth it.

Re: My debut album
I guess this explains all those posts in the sound production forum.
Well done, Joey, I think it sounds great. Bravo!

Re: My debut album
Having a listen right now, so far its been excellent. Good work!
Edit: Just got to Deeper and Deeper, and had to add that its a pretty jammin track. I think I need to buy the album just for that, thanks for sharing.

Re: My debut album (is now free on my site!)
so i downloaded it and it rules - i got the flac version. unfortunately squar is really loud and all of the other tracks are really soft...i have no idea why. i'm going for a re-download.
This looks like a psychotropic reaction. No wonder it's so popular...

That's possibly because square was mastered at a real studio whereas the rest are all mastered by me.
