Would it make you feel better if I told you that the x0xb0x and SH-101 play very will with a modular?
Probably not.
If you decide to go this route head on over to Muff's and start reading. It could easily take a few months before you pick out a format/case solution/choice of modules. The more informed you are before you start, the happier you'll be with your purchases, especially if you have a goal in mind, in this case, acieeeeeed. Also, don't start too small like so many newbs, myself included. I thought two rows of Eurocrack would be enough to start but I outgrew that in a few months.
