Hi all!
I've been working on this track for a while. But I haven't been able to find a proper beat that seems to fit it.
You guys know any songs i could research to get some ideas? I'm kinda at creative dead end here :/
I was planning to use my machinedrum but my mates were less then thrilled when i suggested it to them.

You gotta be kidding - leave it as is, this one does not need a beat.
Think Jeremy Soule (and if that fits well, you might maybe add some pathethic tympani rolls and brass hits
).
I can, however, imagine your intro glued to some metal song - refer to Metallica's "Call of Ktulu".
