Hey all! I’m looking at getting a new piece of gear, but to afford it (and justify it, honestly) I’d like to see if anyone would like to upgrade their rackmount Korg MS2000r to my MS2000B. I’m thinking $170 (based on eBay comparisons) is fair for the the trade but I’m open to offers. That said, no I will not just outright trade/downgrade. Lol!

My MS is in fully functional, clean order. About a year ago, I opened this puppy up and cleaned all the key contacts, so the keys are all responsive. I also lost a couple knobs over the years, but I’ve replaced them with even cooler ones. That said, if you want to keep it original, I’m totally fine if you want to swap a couple of your rackmount knobs and throw them on the keyboard versions. I don’t really care if I’m missing a couple - I actually prefer to customize anyway.

I don’t have the original box, nor a vocoder microphone (another reason I want to trade: I’ve never felt worthy enough to mess with vocoder.)

I'm in the Chicago suburb of Glen Ellyn and I'm looking to trade a few things. I'm much more open to trades that are local as I don't have a car so coming to me would be the way it would work. I'm not totally against trades outside of the Chicago area but it would have to be a trade I really want to make. Having said that, here's the list.

Moog Minimoog Voyager XL. In mint condition and comes with everything included (patch cables, manual, power cord). Also I have a hard ATA case that goes with it.

Moog Sub Phatty. In box and basically brand new. Used for a total of an hour to mess around with it. Comes with all items in box.

Metasonix D-1000. It's the ultra rare version that came in a tackle box/tool box made of plastic and tube driven unlike the later model which was also rare yet not as rare as this one. Comes with power supply.

Akai AX80. In great condition cosmetically and function wise.

Roland V Synth. In great condition and fully functional. Not the GT version.

Considering trading Roland SH-101 with mod grip, strap, and gig bag, for Roland SH-2 or SH-09 plus cash. SH-2 might be a straight trade if it comes with the case.
