sh-101 lfo/clock rate issue

Post by elsquirrel » Fri Dec 28, 2018 4:51 am

So the lfo/lock rate on my 101 is not working properly. From about about 0-75% of the slider, it stays as a super fast rate, and then the last 25% it's even faster (the led is solid color). It makes it totally unsable.

I'm not sure of the normal range of the lfo so I don't know if the fader is just not making contact for the first 3/4, or if the whole rate is way off or both.

Any advice at what I could look at here? I have a multi-meter and soldering iron.

Check the voltage at the input and output of the fader. It's possible that the fader needs cleaning or replacement.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.
