Oberheim Matrix 1000 won't go past patch 099

My newly acquired Matrix 1000 seems to have changed how it gets to patches. I am sending out the MIDI info via my DAW, which has no patch or bank selected on the MIDI channel.

After I first got the M1000 going I could punch in whatever patch number and the M1000 would go to it. And I could press the plus button when sitting on patch 099 and it would go to 100.

Now it will only go to patches 0--99, unless I hold the Bank Lock button and press a bank number. But if I push + or - to go to the next patch it reverts bank to bank 0.

The only thing I have done since it was working fine is load some patches via sysex. A reset didn't help.

Any ideas why it seems to be wanting to stay on bank 0?

Well, when I close my DAW, it works as normal. I guess my DAW was doing something to it, though I didn't change anything on it either that I recall.

Oh well.
