Juno 106 power crackling

Hey guys-
First time poster...and of course I need some help.
My Juno 106 started having these intermittent power issues, sometimes there's a crackling sound coming from somewhere inside and sometimes it works just fine. I've tried to track down the crackling sound but I can't seem to place it and honestly when I hear it I don't really want to leave the unit on very long. Sometimes it just won't power up, but I notice that if I move it around a bit it will kick back in.
It's seems like something is shorting out but everything looks fine inside, the machine has not been dropped or mishandled. The voice chips have all been worked on and the machine sounds perfect when I'm not having issues with the power.
