Help me recreate this sound!

Post by MathiasSteenJensen » Tue Sep 22, 2020 2:56 pm

Hey! Looking for help to recreate the synth in this song! I'm a beginner at making my own patches so I could use a little help getting there.

It's the brassy sounding thing around 12 seconds into the video!

How would I go about achieving this sound?

Search for "synth brass" in any synth you have.

(And layer it with your buddy's "rawk" guitar power chords.)

You're welcome! ;)

It's about one of the simplest synth sounds you can make - a couple of sawtooth oscillators, slightly tuned apart, organ-style envelopes (fast attack and release, high sustain), filter open, that's about it... (the rest is just finesse)

A popular topic indeed!

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.
