Hi there, I recently bought a second hand SY35. It looks in amazing condition, came with a padded case, original yamaha power supply etc. Tried all the keys with headphones, all worked. Pitch and mod wheels still have plenty of life in them. But when I brought it home, I can't seem to get any sound out of the main L/R outputs!
Is there some set-up I need to do? Headphone jack works fine if I plug a 1/4" jack into it so my system isn't the issue; it's the jacks themselves or something I need to change in the endless menus of this synth. I had a browse of the manual and couldn't find anything but honestly didn't really know where to look.
Any help would be greatly appreciated to get this beat up and running once more!
I'm happy to open it up if anyone thinks there's an internal fix that needs to be done as well.
