MFB II + Quasimidi 309 Users???
Does any one know if you can control the gate time on individual steps of either Quasimidi's 309 or MFB's Synth II? I am not sure if I am even using the correct term. What I mean is the length of individual steps in a pattern. I once had a DX200, I think that is what Yamaha called it. Thanks is advance.

In regard to the Synth II, with it's own sequencer, NO.Kaled wrote:Does any one know if you can control the gate time on individual steps of either Quasimidi's 309 or MFB's Synth II? With an external unit, most definitely (through either CV or MIDI).
But it's own sequencer squeezes out a base 16th note; which can be multiplied through sustained 16ths....but everything is going to end up at least a 16th or some whole division of a 16th (when larger than a 16th).

On the 309 you can alter the note length/gate on the bass sequencer to 4 different user definitions but on the percussion its fixed as you don't really need it.Kaled wrote:Does any one know if you can control the gate time on individual steps of either Quasimidi's 309 or MFB's Synth II?
