Novation Remote Zero SL - vs- CME Bitstream 3x

Post by pod » Sun Oct 21, 2007 11:22 pm

Hi everyone - just registered... everything looking good so far. Forum seems busy and full of decent discussions.

Have switched to hardware having lamented softsynths for their lack of punch and depth. All new to synths and MIDI, so this forum will be a big help.

Bought a Remote Zero SL last week and not all that impressed. The automap universal isn't the simple solution I had wanted (to use Cubase SX and quickly map the main realtime controls of the the synths to the control surface).

Am I just lazy, and should persevere with making my own templates, or would the Bitstream be a better choice. I can't find a list of templates for the Bitstream and wondering if my units are covered or not?

Any help and advice appreciated - cheers
