Triggering A moog LP w/ a machinedrum

Hello I know im always having problems...well who isnt? Anyways I dont know to much about midi and I was wondering if it is possible to use the elektron machinedrum to trigger a moog lp? In other words to use it as a step sequencer?

I don't see why not. As long as you have the Machinedrum's MIDI out going to the LP's MIDI in, you should be able to send note on/off messages at the very least. Just make sure the MD and LP are set to send/receive on the same channel. I don't know how to specifically set that up in the MD but the docs should say something about transmitting MIDI, or controlling other devices that way. The LP defaults to send/receive on channel 1.
