http://d16.pl/index.php?menu=183

it's an emulation of diode clipping combined with three (!) multimode filters (I can't tell if they're routed in serial or parallel though... Looks like parallel to me, since it's advertised as a "multiband distortion" and there's independent volume for each filter.) and a dynamics section.

Judging by the audio examples it's pretty promising IMHO. Definitely not the same type of distortion you get from amp sims or pedal effects... But not quite as whacked out as ohmicide. I love the more subtle examples like the slap bass and the EPs. Sounds really "warm" to my ears (I know, not a very helpful descriptor).

I guess this is a first in a series of effects they plan on making.

It's also going to be (in january when it comes out) VST ON WINDOWS/MAC AND AU ON MAC whereas the rest of their plugs have yet to include an AU version (they're working on them though)

It looks pretty cheaply priced at 29 euros... I wonder if the price will stay that low after the pre-order is over...

P.S. I'm pretty sure this is the right forum, even though it's not a synth... As it is software, and I don't see a forum for software effects... Sound production maybe?

It's looking good, I'm sure there'll be a demo version to try. I read that it's based on the distortion effect in phoscyon.
