How do I tune this Minimoog???

Post by rpstro02 » Sun Jan 13, 2008 4:15 am

I've seen some manuals online that describe how to tune the MiniMoog. However, mine doesn't have the same trim pots in back as the instructions I've seen call for. Does anyone know the proper procedure to tune a MiniMoog with Octave, Scale, Shift, and Hi End for each oscillator. I can get a single note on a single oscillator in tune, but all the other notes will be off. Anyone know the proper technique for tuning this guy?

Thanks.

Eh, just poke about. Common sense and a guitar tuner will get you far.

I tune my MFB Synth II despite the lack of a service manual.

try checking out the files in the "Lords of the Mini" Yahoo user group, it's a good resource for tuning info.

I searched everywhere and finally found this:

http://www.bernhard-doering.de/Synthi-M ... uning.html

Works great now except I need a couple new tuning pots. I wonder if I can get the original out there somewhere?
