Ive had both...

The Jx-3p has a simple and usefull sequencer

The MKS-30 responds to velocity.

Both sounds nice and they have a strong personality. Totaly complemens the JX-8p

The module version of older Roland's keyboard such the MKS usually have a better midi spec over the keyboard version. Since you already own several nice keyboards which can be used as a controller, I would suggest to get the MKS-30.
