Hi!
Does a korg ms 10 have a pitch to cv?
How does it compare to a ms 20?
Is $750 a good price for it?
Should a save a little more and get the ms20?
Thanks alot!
Korg ms 10

Pitch to CV: NO, but the one on the MS20 isn't very reliable anyway
Compare to MS20: only one VCO, only LPF
Good price: $750 is average, not a bargain
Get an MS20?: it's much more versatile which is why it costs more, depends on your application

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Yeah!
I got it!
And I love it. I figured that , since I could inspect it, test it and pick it up, with no waiting, it was a reasonable deal. Paid a little more for peace of mind. One sold on ebay today for $632 plus $60 in shipping. The one I got is in really goog condition. 100% functional. And sounds great. It's the newer model wih the push button. Is this version more or less desirable?
Anyway... I'm already getting some great sounds from it! Really nice!
This is the most I spent on a synth so far. I'm just learning. But I got synth addiction now. And for some reason I think only a minimoog will get me the high I want! Ehe! Or A Jup!!! Or a badass modular! Or maybe a synthi!!!! AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Heh I was thinking of making the guy an offer too. Yep that's the one I had and should have never sold, with the momentary on button. My MS-20 is still mad at me for sending his best friend away. It depends from person to person but I would say it's more desirable at least to me. Congrats. Regardless of people calling it a dud I enjoy it's sound/filter and sound is important.
$750 seems like a lot for an MS-10 but if its whole, uncracked sides, good lettering and WORKS I guess it's ok. I spent a little more than that on an MS-20 though, $250 more and it came with the MS-02 interface. Other MS-10/20 users recommend the Moog CP-251 for patching purposes. I haven't gotten one yet though but I will sooner or later.
Addiction addiction...an ARP 2600 w/ 4012 filter is on my hit-list along with a Minimoog, Synthi AKS/VCS3, Moog Source and MS-10(again)...and like 2 or 3 poly's hah! Recycle those cans, bottles and make a synth savings account. I think drug addicts have it easier than us.
