Random Parts and Service Manuals

Post by erik-o » Tue Feb 26, 2008 12:29 am

Hello, its been over a year since I last posted...I'm glad to say that I'm still working as a tech at a local music store. Throughout the 30+ years of the store's existence, the company has amassed a lot of service information and parts from various synth and organ manufacturers. Unfortunately, the demand for vintage synths and organs in this area is quite low so I've taken it upon myself to collect all these parts and brochures before we throw them away. I haven't cataloged everything yet so I don't know off the top of my head what manuals we have. I do know we have info on Hammonds, old and new Yamahas, older Korgs, Rolands and many other manufacturers. As for parts we have a box full of yamaha keys, sliders and tact switches, some arp parts, some wurlitzer parts and lots of other stuff. We also have a few keyboards that have been abandoned, I'll clean and power them up to see what models they are and what issues they still have. The best thing to do is e-mail or private message me with a request for a specific item. I'll respond as soon as i can.

I should also note that I won't be doing this for profit. Some of these parts and documents are very old. I will only charge shipping and a small fee to cover the trip to the post office. As for service info in pdf format, I'll find some way to transfer it to whoever needs it.

Korg Trident
Korg Poly 61
Rhodes/ARP EP4

Sequential Circuits Prophet 600

A list of available parts:

Crumar Keys
Various Yamaha Keys, Tact switches and sliders
1 Grey Matter Board for Yamaha DX-7
1 Membrane Button Panel (Prog, select and number pad) for Prophet 600
2 Roland MC-500 upgrade boards
2 DX-7 LCDs
2 Kurzweil K2000 Fan Kits
1 K2000 Floppy Drive
1 K2000 SMP-k rom
1 K2000 Orchestral Disk
1 K2000 Orchestral Rom Soundset Disk
2 K2000 Rom v1.03 Program and Demos
1 Gray gigbag for Solton 3 octave keyboard, good for midi controllers
and a few of old expansion cartridges in questionable condition, some packaged some not; ask for specific models

There are also some abandoned synths in the shop that have been abandoned including a JX8P which fluctuates in volume, and a Casio CZ1000 with some broken keys, not sure what other problems the casio has. Neither synth has a powersupply.

There will be a flat fee of $15 dollars for each manual and part to cover shipping. If interested in the synths, please pm me so we can discuss pricing.

Oberheim OB-3

Post by Bim1959 » Fri Mar 14, 2008 4:53 am

Any chance you might have a service manual for an Oberheim OB-3 tone generator? If not, any idea where I can find one?

I am in need of a power cable for a Roland JX-8P. A Manual would be nice too.

Anyone able to help out on this?

Thanks!

Roos
