Serge Modular Pages Are Up Now...

Post by carbon111 » Fri Feb 29, 2008 6:18 pm

The Serge Modular pages I've been working on for the Creature and M-Class Panels are now online and can all be reached from:

http://www.carbon111.com/serge_index.html

...only the Creature and M-Class pages are new at the moment but there are more in-progress so I've given Serge-related pages their own index.

Have fun!
Best Regards, James

I'm almost afraid to ask... but I couldn't find any mp3 demos in there :(.

...and you won't ;)

However, I will be putting some wave files up of the Creature panel by itself to give folks a "taste". It'll be a few days.

carbon wrote... The sounds you can coax out of this beast are phenomenal and extremely varied! Sure, with a MIDI/CV converter you can play cool bass and lead lines but you can also do "alien lifeforms mating under a molten-sulpher sea" sounds too - just start routing control voltages around and drive your cat under the couch for a week!
LOL I love my cats Miki, Howie and Charlie but that sounds like fun.

I'm not a "mac guy" but I'll see what I can do. ;)

No idea.

Someday I hope.

For now there's just the Serge-fans site and mine...the main reason I created my Serge pages is it seemed there was such a dearth of info on the system. Egres (now Serge-fans) was great but wasn't exactly what I had been looking for at the time....so I "rolled my own".

cool- i've always been disappointed that nothing exists like the original Buchla 200 series complex waveform generators- yet the Serge seems very similar to them and at a more financially accessible price than the new 200e's... so a Serge shop panel seems a likely addition in the near future!
