16th Street, a 100% MPC2000XL Tune

Something that I have been doing along side my industrial music project is a instrumental hip-hop album, working title Diary of an MPC2000XL.

for this track, I personally made by hand the guitar loop part and trumpet loops in reason 3.0, ran through izotope vinyl, and further degrading to give it a slightly lo-fi downtempo sound that im totally obsessed with. I hope you guys like it.

i like it the beginning sounds very silent hilly and as much as i love drums (which i truely truely do) they seem a little to loud in the mix.

yea, listen to it on a good pair of monitors. the drums are a bit loud out my end, but they sound well balanced on my K240Studios and Alp 5's.

And sounds good in my car too. See if it has the same problem when you listen to it on a better system.
