Eowave Filter Bug, anybody have one?

Post by pricklyrobot » Thu Apr 17, 2008 7:37 pm

So, I'm trying to figure out what to blow my tax stimulus check on when it shows up. I was thinking Frostwave Resonator, but the Eowave Filter Bug looks pretty cool too (doesn't have the HPF like the Resonator, but it's stereo and has an LFO). I can't find much info on the Filter Bug online, and a search of VSE didn't turn up much either.

Has anyone here used one? Does it have any CV inputs (mostly I'd just want to control filter cut-off via expression pedal)? How slow/fast does the LFO get? Any opinions on it versus the Resonator?

For a hundred dollars more you could get a used Evolver, which is quite the stereo filterbank (with bonus features including being a kick-a*s monosynth).

Yeah, the Evolver's on my list for the future, but I really need to keep it $300 or under for right now.
