Alesis Metavox tuning?

Post by RedSky » Sat May 17, 2008 2:01 am

I love this thing but was wondering if there's a way of setting the pitch of the internal vocoder waveforms as I really like them. I know this question has been aked before so apologies for this!

not sure if I understand the question, but... I had one for a little while, and, yeah, the internal waveform really sounds good! I wish the micron sounded like that!
You could control it theremin like with one of the (oddly named) knobs. I don't think you can get it to track across a keyboard though which is what I think you were probably hoping.

Thanks for the reply. i just meant that say I have a track in the key of E and I want the internal voice to be tuned to E, is that possible at all. I've read people saying they've done it and was just wondering if anyone on here has?

From what I see in my schematics (and from memory), there are no tuning possible (from the trim pot). Maybe a mod is possible but I never wrapped my head around it.
