File editing on Zoom H2 question

Post by Phollop Willing PA » Fri Jun 06, 2008 4:01 pm

When I try to edit a file, i seems to take a long long time. (Original file is 72 mins long). Why?

Also, is there a rule of thumb as to how long it would take?

Also, any recommendations on using a a car adapter (for doing edits) to save battery power...?

Any help? Any suggestions?

File editing on devices other than computers is known to take some time. The H2 doesn't exactly have a whole modern desktop computer crammed into it's chassis.

You may want to use something like CDwav : http://www.milosoftware.com/cdwave/index.html

Use this on your computer after you've transferred that huge audio file to disk.
