step down transformer/sh-2

Hello,
My girlfriend just bought me an SH-2, however the previous owner bought it in japan so i need a step down transformer. I found this -

- and judging from the text on it i think it might work. but before trying it i wanted to see if someone here could perhaps confirm it for me?
The specs on the SH-2 are: 100v - 50/60Hz - 11W
(hopefully this is enough info)

Yeah that should work fine. The voltage is right, and the transformer is able to supply enough power (Watts) for the synth so you should be all set to go provided the plug fits into the socket on the transformer (but it looks to be Japanese so should be sweet).

As the man says, that should be fine. I've used a few step-downs for various bits of gear, and my only real word of advice is to look out for excessive hum - it probably won't be an issue, but one or two of my 45W step-downs sounded like they ran on wasps, and then conked out after a few hours' use. They were cheap s**t, obviously. I went for a 100W version instead, which is bigger but manageable, and it's absolutely fine. The gear I'm powering is only about 17W. Just something to be aware of. In fact, changing step-down also solved memory problems on one particular piece, so that's even better. I'm not buying shoddy c**p supplies any more...
