Griffin;
Have you bought the soundpack? I'm very tempted by this one.
I own Reaktor, so I was hoping it was a free download, but this is not the case.
The sequencer is, however, free - as are all the included synths.

As it turns out, my computer is way too slow for this one. I tried hooking Spiral up with a synth, and only with a very basic setup I ran into cpu problems. Hopefully I'll get my computer upgraded this week, and I might pick up the soundpack then.

Do you have Kore2, btw?

Yes and I wrote a feature on it.

This one isn't installed on my machine yet.
The last one I used was Best of Reaktor. Which was suprising good because I don't like most of the Reaktor stuff or even the sounds/music made by heavy Reaktor users so I panned it at first. I did find every patch usable and quality. I stripped some of the animations down and made this...

I'm also a big fan of the Urban Arsenal. Native Instruments and IKMultimedia (ARC, Stomp, SampleMoog and SampleTron) are two companies that really surged this year.

I've been having a lot of fun with Spiral the past few days. I'm not much of a sequencer fan, but this pseudorandom stuff really turns me on. :D
"Sure that's fine in practice, but what about in theory?"
Some of my c**p

Griffin;
Nice review & cool track.
It seems Kore2 is essential to really be able to use Animated Circuits to its fullest,
so I'll have to wait for this one. I'll probably be buying the Kore2 software only a
little later this year.

Spiral certainly is interesting. I've been sending out to the midi to the hardware modular, very nice.
