Anyone have a copy of A3K Disky?

I bought an SCSI hard-drive for my A-3000 a few months ago, but ferrying samples over from my PC via floppy disc is getting a little tedious. Cheap SCSI cards for the PC seem to be readily available. But, I'm guessing, since the hard-drive has been formatted with Yamaha's proprietary format, Windows probably won't just let me open it like a normal drive and start plopping WAV files onto it. Supposedly there is (or was) a free program called A3K Disky that allowed you to do exactly this, or at least that's what I can glean from old message board references to it. However, it seems to have completely disappeared from the net. None of the links to where it used to be actually go anywhere, and I can't find any new references to it.

So, if anyone here knows where I could download it, or has a copy that you could send me as a ZIP file, I would be forever in your debt (or I'd think fondly of you for several days, at least :).)

I just need to simplify the damned workflow here, or I'm going to give up on this sampling thing altogether. :wink:

This page on their website says "...A-3000, 4000, and 5000. Code is being written presently for translation into this format." But I have no idea how old that page is.

Aah, yes, that looks like it should do the trick. I remember seeing that program long ago (I always seem to go in spurts where I focus on one piece of gear for a while, then ignore it for a few months while I delve into something else) and thinking it only worked with the Motif samplers, but on closer inspection it seems it'll work with the A-series as well. I'll find out for sure in a few days when my SCSI card gets here.

Go for the SCSI card... A3K Disky did read the waves, but you loose all loop info...
I know, I used it a long time ago, when I had a Mac at work.
Not sure if I have that anymore...

Concerning the A3000, when I had mine, I used an app called bZone quite a lot to edit programs, etc. Made things a lot easier... especially because the encoders kept crappin' out on me...
