Elektron's...uh oh...what?

Anniversary Editions...

Well not really what I had in mind. Elektron Friend's will have seen them unless someone was an Elektron Traitor. Not like the email said not to tell anyone anyway.

So specially colored bottom part of the cases. If I was ready to upgrade I would buy them because well I'd be ready to upgrade and they are there.

people are never happy with what they have, a colour change to the casing
is not gonna improve the machines UI is it or radically alter it's sound.

buy a can of spray paint instead and do it on the cheap...

Damn is that why you are dual-welding MD-UW MKII's? That must be awesome to have so many ram machines. Imagine what it would be like if they were both in one case... *dream sequence*

That looks like awesome space magic.

Damn it Elektron with your "Special Anniversary" stuff. It better be a distraction to make us think meh what a let down and then BAM! Something awesome.

Figures they would repost from some other site, when do they ever do their own news breaking...or writing...or editing for that matter. They even posted a screen shot and everything. Kind of defeats the purpose of being an Elektron Friend. I bet they will repost it again on monday when it's open for the world.

I wonder if they will be sold out by monday. Damn it I want rack ears! Those should just come standard like with most gear.

Where? I've only seen them for $50 each. $50 each plus shipping for rack ears! Bent pieces of metal with holes...

Wackest SE Edition Ever! It may also be the first SE / Anniversary Edition that I don't like more than the original.

Well, noone is forcing you to buy another one just because they come in several colors. But its nice for people who don't own one to be able to pick the colour of theirs. Just like all those Voyager editions with green/yellow/blue/purple/black/white/grey/orange light in them.

They should have did some black ones. Ninja editions! Like the sidstation. Weren't there also blue and red sidstations? If they really wanted to make them special they would've did it to the faceplates.
