I was wondering what synth was used to make that piano sound on most 90's house records. I mean the sound that borders between synthesized and realistic.
I always thought it was a Korg M1 but I've also heard of the Roland D-50 being used.
That seriously cheesy vid has the sound I'm referring to, they are using a D-50 in the video but it sounds more realistic than what I've heard from a D-50, more like what I've heard coming from an M1.
