I'm really excited that I might be finally purchasing a synth i've been longing for for quite some time, but I need some help.

Does all this seem fair to you guys? My main concern is the headphone output's so called scratchiness. I mean, should that effect the price even more, or is this a good deal? I use the main outs 99.5% of the time on my other synths, so that's not really a concern, but from a perfectionists view point, I can't help but be a little bothered.
Nevertheless, It's a chance for me to pick it up in person and I just want to make sure I won't be regretting anything. Any advice???

Re: Yamaha dx7 advice
If you've been longing for one and you can use the headphone out on your mixer - assuming you use one - then go ahead with it. But then, I love the DX7 so much I'm biaised!

Re: Yamaha dx7 advice
I'd say go for it - a scratchy headphone output is a minor issue and probably can be easily fixed (9 times out of 10 it's just dirty jack contacts).
Two VCO: thanks to the push rods, one can choose several forms of waves at the same time!
