I recently picked up a Roland U-20+2 ROM carts from Goodwill for $5.99.
I've already sold the carts but now I'm looking to use the U-20 as a MIDI controller.
Most of it works fine except for about 16 keys in the upper regions of the keyboard.
From what I understand this is most likely a ribbon cable problem..
What I was wondering was if anyone has done a repair like this and is there anyway to get access to the keyboard without having to go through the bottom and removing the boards?
It's not a huge issue cause it's just midi and I can transpose but any help would be fantastic
