low battery on the ESQ-1 / ESQm

Post by synthy » Wed Apr 22, 2009 10:44 pm

i checked my battery levels on my ESQm. looks like the time is near for the dreaded battery change! it has not told me so yet on the start up display but i did check the numbers and it looks like it will be ready very soon according to the ESQm manual. the numbers are not ( 00 ). so should i wait until the one day i fire it up and it will display low battery, or just change it out now? i have never done anything like this before but i'm sure i can do it after a few tips from my friends at VSE! i do know you have to be very careful with static and making sure the bats in the right way or you can kill your unit. the life of my ESQm is in my little hands...lol. i do like learning how to do intricate things so this will be good for me. :D

thanks for any help here.
