Fixing my DX7s

Post by mrfrisky330 » Tue May 05, 2009 2:39 pm

Hello!

I have two keys that don't work (1st octave F and Gb) you press them nothing happens. They have the same "weighty" feel of the other keys, so whats happened?

More importantly can it be fixed? If so can I fix it or is there a UK recommended place where I can get it fixed??

I had a DX7S once and I'm no repair expert, but if yours were mine I'd probably take it apart myself and try cleaning it, might just be a dirty contact. If that didn't work and it still needed repair I'd know a place or two locally, no idea where to take in UK tho sorry, DX7S arn't that rare or specialized, any music gear repair shop should be able to do it. Try not to pay more than the cost of getting another perfectly working one.
