Aha! It was in France. I guess I'll have to be somewhat more aggressive with my searching if I want to find one of these. Thanks for pointing me to it. I do hope that you find yourself a real good one.

Thanks. I'm thinking I won't get a Bit at all now. I just spent the morning with a Nord Lead 2x, and programmed one of my favourite Bit sounds on it. And? It sounds exactly the same...
