Roland JX-3P sequencer

Post by DGBX » Wed Jul 01, 2009 6:05 pm

So I just bought one for about 120 CAD. It`s got a bunch of dead keys I`ll have to repair but in the meantime I`m wondering if anyone can enlighten me as to the use of the sequencer. thanks in advance!

Download the manual... it's a really simple sequencer but suprisingly cool :) (use the link below for manual)

anyway quick instructions:

Hit write (on sequencer) and enter step time, use rests and ties as needed.

If you want flashy test lights on playback you can hold

REST while pressing Start and the lights will follow the sequence.

your dead keys are probably just dirty contacts.. I had 2 on mine now fixed.

oh and google has lots of info:
