Re: Trigger Converter?
A korg kr55. I also have a yamaha cs15 I would like to use with my roland csq600, so an MS02 would work for that as well. How much do those things go for now? It might be easier to buy a different oct/v synth.

Re: Trigger Converter?
In that case, the triggered device will fire on the falling edge of the trigger it's given, rather than the rising edge - which means it'll be in time, but behind. How far behind depends on the shape and width of the trigger signal, and the sensitivity of the input.madtheory wrote:I meant try connecting it without any inversion...
What's a resistor between friends? The only reason I'm banging on about using a chip is for the impedance. Seems to me that a quad inverter could provide inversion and impedance in one go, no?
I'm from Yorkshire. Make of that what you will.Cost isn't an issue on this scale
He says it's a KR-55, which is 5V for off, 0V to trigger. I don't know the length of the pulse. What's the Korg drum machine likely to be putting out?

This is it! It converts v-trig to s-trig and visa-versa. And they are inexpensive and readily available. Some other interesting products as well. http://www.systemj.co.uk/sysjpage2.html

Re: Trigger Converter?
Indeed.
Nice find anyway, haydenvan. Good prices too. Very useful, I'd have thought.
