Re: POST ANY INTERESTING EBAY / CRAIGSLIST LISTINGS HERE!!!
It looks like its at least mostly a yamaha ce20. I found that after googling the "symphonic modulation" label shown on one of the pcbs. Not that I know what the insides of a ce20 are supposed to look like, but it seems strange to me that the voice boards are all on single sided circuit boards or veroboards (see:homemade/prototype) whereas the panel controls are on a production board. Plus wires aren't matching and are soldered in a way that looks like moddiong rather than prototyping etc. So, that's all a bit in-conclusive. The non sequentially numbered leds on the front panel are diy-ed in there.
The listing is woefully short on information and there's a used ce20 at a guitar center online for $250. "Some things work and some things don't" with no way to ask anyone anything about it.... no thanks.
Therefore, not worth taking a flyer on it since it doen't seem like a yamaha approved prototype of anything.
Edited to complete thoughts (teach me to respond from my phone)

Ugh, I feel sick whenever I see that name now. A couple of years ago he had a nice Synthex that ended at about 3500 and was willing to ship it up here for 250 bucks. Have bought a few things from him before. Good seller.fh991586 wrote:And it once was in the Sentience Studio!!!

Never heard of this before! And I thought the MKS-900 was rare, this simili-version isn't even listed on Roland UK's ftp owner's manual ressource (ftp://ftp.roland.co.uk/ProductSupport/)...

Is it just me or is this a steal? $1000 for a rhodes mk2 73 in good shape and a viscount op-6 that may/may not need work.
