Novation LaunchPad Ableton Controller

Post by impaler42 » Tue Oct 06, 2009 6:40 pm

Anyone else excited to try one of these out? I have an APC 40 and have been really happy with how they designed it. Its makes using Live even better. The Novation LaunchPad is going for $199, which is a great price for an entry level Ableton specific controller. I think it looks a bit plasticky but I hope it makes up for it in term of functionality. Apparently, it was made with Max for Live in mind, and can be used for some of the different applications, like the step sequencer, which I cant wait to try out. What are everyone else's thoughts on this new unit? Been waiting for the next Ableton controller, and its almost here. Comes out November 1st.
