any akai Z8/s6000 user?? effects quality

Just tested mine and I have all six effects running in play mode.

That was my point - you get 6 in play mode but only 3 in rec mode (which is where the live fx mode is).

So a question - is the A/D still active even in play mode such that FX still work even if no MIDI triggering is going on? Your video wasn't clear as to what mode your sampler was in.

If the A/D *is* still working in play mode, well, that's great news and I have never tried it!

In the video it was in play mode, I see what your saying about 160 in the manual but the way I do it if I want to record with the effects is go to - record - setup- set the input to stereo out and it will record how ever you have it routed.

when you said fx processor mode I assumed you meant... running whatever signal through the A5 effects with no sampling required as in the video.
