I found one of these at a pawn shop, with original cables/manuals/software, looks to be barely used and in good shape. he has it at 289, said he'd go to 250. i'm not sure i could get it any lower than that, maybe like 230...
i just got a macbook pro and need some way to hook my synths into it, i was looking at the motu traveler but thinking i had to wait awhile to reach that roughly 700 to 800 price tag. I came across this alesis, which is firewire, and was wondering if there is anyone here that has used this thing before or know of it well enough to say its worthwhile or if its worthless. its been discontinued, and i've never really used anything by alesis...so i don't know what to think of it at all.
