Sounds like a generic Drum and Bass pattern to me. Its probably a stock pattern on the machine.
Keys: Realistic Concertmate 500, Korg K25, Korg Micro X
Guits: '86 Fender Japan '50s Reissue Strat, '80 Aria Pro II TS-300 Thor Sound

Yeah its definately D&b... But i have been listening to it constantly and i can't find that same kind of sound from any of the artists. The sampled drums on that track are like crack for my ear and i DESPERATELY want to find that same sound. I feel like i'm asking to much and that i'd probably do better searching myself simply because what i am looking for is so specific....
I sense many nights of searching ahead of me! (Heavy sigh)

Re: What song is this / specific type of music
its a preset pattern from the ES-1
the drum sounds are fairly common from what i've heard in older dnb/jungle, and sometimes in more atmospheric D&B..
pitching up snares a bit is key.
to get the kinda stretched mechanical sounding snare bit, add a delay with a reallllly short delay time.
the bassdrum is more a synthetic type thing rather than a sample taken out of an old break.
I can't really help more than that, I dont do drum&bass
