Horns on Steve Winwood's Higher Love?

I don't have much experience with digital or sample synths. Is it a D50 or a sample?

Real horns most likely. I did see sax and trumpet players. Could be layered with synths and/or samplers, though.

Back in the High Life was realeased in 1986 and I'm pretty sure the D-50 came out in 1987, so I doubt there's any D-50 on the album, no sure about using it in that 1988 concert footage. I've always wondered what made the "vox pads" on "Higher Love".

According to Wikipedia, Martin Gore is listed as one of the song's composers along with Winwood and Will Jennings. David Frank (from The System) is listed for horn arrangements on High Life.
