another jx-3p question--sequencer tempo
I forgot this part--can i use an mc-303 to control the jx-3p sequencer tempo? i've also got an mpc 2000, which, i assume, could also be used for this purpose. as i mentioned in my previous post, i'm a total dope about this kind of thing. if anyone has any ideas, please use small words.

The JX-3P's sequencer cannot be synced to MIDI, but it does have a Trigger In jack on the back. You would need to feed a trigger pulse from a drum machine to sync it. For example:
MC-303 as master MIDI clock hooked to a TR-626 playing a pattern with rim shots at appropriate intervals (quaters, eighths, sixteenths, whatever) with the 626's trigger out running into the JX-3P's Seq Trigger In.
