Battery Compartment covers

Post by Cumulus » Thu Mar 25, 2010 9:34 pm

Does anyone know of a place that sells NOS or reproduction battery compartmetn covers for old keybooards and/or other gear?

I bought a repro battery cover for my Nintendo DMG off of Ebay a couple of years ago.

If such a place does not exist do you think it would be worth starting one? With the right plastic molding equipment it shouldn't be too hard to manufacture new ones for all the gear that has lost theirs along the way.

i don't know if it would be a money maker but it would certainly be technologically possible to make new ones if an old one is available to copy.

Oh, and the place could sell ac adaptors, too.

Where do these things all go? Is there an alternate dimension where the streets are lined with battery compartment covers and single lost socks?

I've seen repro SH-101 battery compartment covers on eBay...
