Hello again. Did you ever get the Ensoniq SQ-80 card problem solved?

On the DX: Your post says ROMs 1/2... did you mean that? You can't save to a ROM card.
IIRC thre is a protect switch on the card AND in the OS of the DX7. You'll need BOTH turned off to save.

HI Rhino, I haven't solve that sq card problem yet, actually, I bought one on ebay, and waiting that to arrive(I still hope there is something with card wrong). Can u imagine, there is a problem to find someone with sq/esq to test my card in whole bloody Moscow.

What about DX-Im very dissapointed that I cannot save to Rom cards. Why do they need in such case, coz sounds in there are not that good enough, and I was hoping that Ill be able to overwright them. So what type of card shoud I get to be able to save int souds onto it?

You need RAM cards to save your own sounds. ROM stands for Read-Only-Memory. They are programed once, and that's it. The data can be read out, but not over-written.
