Oh no, the M1 is still a great synth, don't get me wrong but having owned an M1 and a Wavestation, I found the latter far more flexible and better sounding but I guess it's a matter of personal taste. The wavestation also has MANY more basic waveforms to buildyour patches from.
20 years ago, a member of my band owned a Roland D20; I hated it. To my ears, it sounded - and still sounds - absolutely cr*p. Between an M1 and a D20, I'd go for the M1 any time.

Well i may have a go at the M1 thats on ebay at the moment :D
any more suggestions though?
