Another shoot out from me: TETRA vs MKS-70. What would you get if you were making modern dance music? I keep hearing opinions that Tetra sounds "bland". I like the functionality of the synth but I don't want to have any surprises with the sound.
So I'm comparing it to MKS 70 which is a rack version of JX-10, which in turn is the expanded version of JX8P. I really don't get why people prefer junos over JXxP's when the latter has 2 oscillators. To me, that alone gives A LOT more thickness to the sound. I only owned a 106 and I could barely use it in my music cause it turned everything into 80s.
Also my budget increased a bit. Now i can spent a little over a grand. Still looking for the perfect analog poly synth...
