Asrx + Rm1x

Post by ves120 » Sun May 08, 2011 3:27 am

Just curious if anyone is using this combo. I'm pretty comfortable with the Asr but I wanted to try out a more solid sequencer. I heard the rm1x was really good and I found one for dirt cheap. I'm just have some trouble figuring it out even with the manual.

Yamaha RM1x is a good option as sequencer for the price they are sold these days ($150-200). Is pretty easy to use. Sound are kind of dated but it can make some nice sequences and control other synths. For a little bit more ($350) you can get a Emu command station wich is a great and fast sequencer and also a formidable synth (rompler with a matrix modulation section and a great filter and arpeggiator). Also you can get an AKAI MPC500, wich is a sampler-sequencer.
