The Final Destination for Loop Libraries?

Prime Loops has just released sample sets for 10 UKP that include entire songs with vocals  for you to remix and rework as you wish, all royalty free. Includes stems ready to go...

Will we be hearing 100 remixes of "Party Like Wow" next month?
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

I guess it depends on where you go to find new music.
If SoundCloud is your iTunes, then maybe.

As with all sample libraries, the people who use it like a crutch are the same who don't have the resources to create a noteworthy release or distribute it. The artist/producer with enough resources to make a dent would probably use it sparingly.

I tend to find libraries good for proving what i cannot. So if someone makes MUSIC then at most I'd expect to hear some familiar vocals over original music, which is no different from what's already happening now.

I mean what do you get for all these remix contests?

And by the way, this is aint the first library of this kind.
Somehow the world survived all the others.

AND if YOU don't buy it, you probably wouldn't know where it was being used anyway.

Hmm, I hear rap music both on the radio and tv all the time, so that can't really be true ;)
